Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- ½ cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 cups Apples, peeled and chopped
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
