Apple Crisp with Oat Topping

Filling
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apple mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let cool slightly before serving.
