Main Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup apple peeled, cored, and chopped
- as needed vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Pour into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in chopped apples.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove fritters and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
