Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the bowl and coat them well with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish.
  5. Scatter the cherry tomatoes around the chicken in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
  7. Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken and tomatoes.
  8. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
