Main Ingredients
- 4 bananas sliced lengthwise
- ¼ cup butter unsalted
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup dark rum
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add the bananas to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes.
Carefully add the rum to the skillet. If you want to flambé, use a long lighter to ignite the rum. Let the flames subside.
Serve the bananas and sauce over vanilla ice cream.
