Ingredients 

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Pickled Vegetables

  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup Daikon Radish, julienned
  • 1 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Assembly

  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 Jalapeno, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. 2. Grill the patties over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix julienned carrots and daikon radish with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or until slightly crispy.
  5. 5. Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise on the buns, place the pork patty, top with pickled vegetables, cilantro, and sliced jalapeno. Serve immediately.
