Ingredients 

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Pickled Vegetables

  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup Daikon Radish, julienned
  • ½ cup Rice Vinegar
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Assembly

  • 4 pieces Burger Buns
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Cilantro Leaves
  • 1 piece Jalapeno, sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Mix ground pork, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper in a bowl. Form into 4 patties.
  2. 2. Grill patties over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  3. 3. In another bowl, mix carrots, daikon, rice vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Toast burger buns on the grill.
  5. 5. Assemble burgers: spread mayonnaise on buns, add pork patties, top with pickled vegetables, cilantro, and jalapeno slices.
