Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef (top round or flank steak) thinly sliced
- ½ cup Soy sauce
- ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
2. Add the beef slices to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
3. Preheat your dehydrator to 160°F (70°C).
4. Arrange the beef slices in a single layer on the dehydrator trays.
5. Dehydrate for 4-6 hours, or until the beef is dry and chewy.
6. Let the jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
