Ingredients 

Waffle Batter

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour the batter onto the iron. Cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until the waffles are golden brown and crisp.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
