  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add chicken broth, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
  4. Stir in milk and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot with a ladle.
