- 3 lbs Beef roast chuck or rump
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 4 rolls French rolls split
- 1 cup Giardiniera optional, for topping
1. Place the beef roast in a slow cooker.
2. Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender.
4. Shred the beef with two forks and return it to the slow cooker to soak up the juices.
5. Serve the beef on split French rolls, topped with giardiniera if desired.
