Chicken Sotanghon Recipe
A comforting Filipino noodle soup made with chicken and vermicelli noodles.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breast sliced into strips
- 200 g Sotanghon (vermicelli) noodles soaked in water
- 1 piece Carrot julienned
- 1 piece Onion chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 cup Cabbage shredded
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
2. Add chicken strips and cook until lightly browned.
3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Add carrots and cabbage. Cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Stir in soaked sotanghon noodles and fish sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until noodles are cooked through.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
