Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup powdered sugar for coating

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and vegetable oil.
  2. 2. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. 3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the cocoa mixture.
  4. 4. Cover dough and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. 5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. 6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat each ball in powdered sugar.
  7. 7. Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. 8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
