Instructions
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onion, garlic, celery, and carrot. Cook until softened.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender.
Return to pot and stir in crabmeat, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
