Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Crabmeat fresh or canned
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 1 cup Carrot chopped
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, celery, and carrot. Cook until softened.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender.
  5. Return to pot and stir in crabmeat, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
