Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups water

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let dough rest at room temperature for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  5. Place a Dutch oven in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, turn dough onto a well-floured surface and shape into a ball.
  7. Carefully remove Dutch oven, place dough inside, cover with lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove lid and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
