Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head Cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots shredded
  • 1 cup Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 cup Onion chopped

Dressing

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seed

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, green bell pepper, and onion.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, water, salt, and mustard seed. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. 3. Pour the hot dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss to coat.
  4. 4. Let the slaw cool to room temperature, then pack into freezer bags and freeze.
  5. 5. To serve, thaw in the refrigerator overnight and drain any excess liquid before serving.
