Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef chuck roast
  • 4 French rolls split
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 packet Dry onion soup mix
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. 2. Add beef broth, dry onion soup mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. 4. Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred with a fork.
  5. 5. Strain the cooking liquid to use as au jus.
  6. 6. Serve the shredded beef on French rolls with a side of au jus for dipping.
