  • 4 large Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and cut the potatoes into strips.
  2. 2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-6 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
  5. 5. Remove the fries and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
