Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh pumpkin puree
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 piece pie crust (9 inch)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
