  • 1 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 unit Egg Yolks lightly beaten
  • ½ cup Butter cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ⅓ cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut
  • 1 cup Pecans chopped

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans. Cool to room temperature before spreading on cake.
