Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder, cubed
  • 2 cups Green chilies, roasted and chopped
  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the cubed pork shoulder. Cook until browned on all sides.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the roasted green chilies, cumin, and oregano. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the pork is tender.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
