Ham Bone and Vegetable Soup Recipe
A hearty soup made with leftover ham bone and fresh vegetables.

Main Ingredients
- 1 Ham bone
- 2 cups Carrots, diced
- 2 cups Celery, diced
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 8 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups Potatoes, diced
- 1 cup Green beans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, sauté the onions, carrots, and celery until softened.
2. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Place the ham bone in the pot and pour in the chicken broth.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
5. Add the potatoes and green beans, and cook for another 30 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Remove the ham bone, shred any remaining meat, and return the meat to the pot.
8. Serve hot.
