Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup Bamboo shoots, julienned
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 2 Green onions, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the mushrooms, tofu, and bamboo shoots. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, and white pepper.
  4. 4. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the soup thickens.
  5. 5. Slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup.
  6. 6. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with green onions before serving.
