Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized.
  3. Add beef broth and roast beef to the skillet. Cook until heated through.
  4. Place hoagie rolls on a baking sheet. Fill each roll with beef mixture and top with a slice of provolone cheese.
  5. Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
