Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Carrots diced
  • 1 cup Celery diced
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Dumplings

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a bit of oil and sauté the chicken until browned.
  2. 2. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Cook until softened.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth, add salt, pepper, and thyme. Stir well.
  4. 4. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. 5. While the chicken cooks, mix the dumpling ingredients in a bowl.
  6. 6. Quick release the pressure. Stir in the heavy cream and peas.
  7. 7. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the pot. Set to sauté and cook until dumplings are done.
