Island Style Sardines and Rice Recipe
A simple and flavorful dish combining sardines with rice, inspired by island cuisine.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 1 can sardines in oil
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- to taste salt and pepper
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
Add the sardines along with their oil, and break them into pieces.
Stir in the soy sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Mix the cooked rice into the sardine mixture, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot and enjoy!
