- 1 cup Butter softened
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts optional
- ½ cup Additional Powdered Sugar for rolling
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until well combined.
Fold in chopped nuts if using.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until set but not brown.
Cool slightly, then roll in additional powdered sugar.
