Ingredients

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the pan with garlic and bacon fat. Remove from heat.
  6. Quickly pour egg and cheese mixture over the pasta, stirring constantly to create a creamy sauce.
  7. Add cooked bacon back to the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
