- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Add cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken and tomatoes. Cover the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
