Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken and tomatoes. Cover the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
