Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
