Ingredients

  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Brew the coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Stir in the sugar and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow baking dish and place it in the freezer.
  4. After 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape the ice crystals that form around the edges. Return to the freezer.
  5. Repeat this scraping process every 30 minutes for about 4 hours, or until the granita is completely frozen and fluffy.
  6. Serve in chilled glasses and enjoy!
