Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
