- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 can Tomato Paste (6 oz)
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Water
1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
4. Add the water and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
