Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Shape the dough into small S shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
