Italian Sausage Ravioli Bake

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 package frozen cheese ravioli 25 oz
- 1 jar marinara sauce 24 oz
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Fresh basil for garnish, optional
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, mix cooked sausage, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning.
In a baking dish, layer half of the frozen ravioli, half of the sausage mixture, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
Top with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, if using.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve hot.
