  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 package cheese tortellini (20 oz)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked tortellini, sausage, and marinara sauce.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve hot.
