Italian Sausage Tortellini Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
- 1 package Cheese tortellini refrigerated
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for a few minutes until it starts to thicken.
4. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
5. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
