Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Italian bread toasted
  • 2 cups Tomatoes diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Top each toasted bread slice with the tomato mixture.
  5. Serve immediately.
