Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. 4. Add diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. 5. Return pork chops to the skillet. Spoon some sauce over the chops.
  6. 6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through.
  7. 7. Serve hot, with sauce spooned over the top.
