Italian Style Short Ribs Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 lbs Beef short ribs
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1 cup Red wine
- 1 can Tomato paste
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
2. Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the short ribs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, and red wine. Bring to a simmer.
5. Return the short ribs to the pot. Add the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cover and place in the oven.
6. Cook for about 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
7. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
