Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2.25 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup Additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in chopped nuts.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool slightly, then roll in additional powdered sugar while still warm.
  9. Let cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.
