Ingredients

  • 1 box White cake mix plus ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 1 package Jell-O any flavor
  • 1 container Whipped topping thawed

Instructions 

  1. Prepare and bake the cake mix according to the package instructions.
  2. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake using a fork.
  3. In a bowl, mix the boiling water with the Jell-O until completely dissolved. Add the cold water and stir.
  4. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Spread the whipped topping over the cake before serving.
