Main Ingredients
- 3 Eggs separated
- ½ cup Granulated sugar divided
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ cup All-purpose flour sifted
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with half of the granulated sugar until thick and pale. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining sugar and continue to whisk until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sift the flour and salt over the mixture and fold gently to combine.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a plain round tip. Pipe 3-inch long strips onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Dust the ladyfingers with powdered sugar and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and firm to the touch.
Allow the ladyfingers to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
