  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a disk about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry each disk until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
