Overnight French Toast Casserole

- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
1. Grease a baking dish and place the bread cubes in it.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all pieces are coated.
4. Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
6. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Sprinkle over the casserole.
7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
