Pasta with Italian Sausage and Pumpkin Sauce

- 12 oz Italian sausage casings removed
- 8 oz Pasta your choice
- 1 cup Pumpkin puree
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
4. Stir in pumpkin puree and heavy cream. Cook until the sauce thickens.
5. Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
