Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 ounces)
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 lb clams, scrubbed
  • 1 lb mussels, scrubbed
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb firm white fish, cut into chunks
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  2. Add white wine, crushed tomatoes, fish stock, oregano, and basil. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add clams and mussels. Cover and cook until they start to open, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and fish. Simmer until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
