Seattle Cream Cheese Dogs

- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 cup cream cheese softened
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, salt, and pepper. Cook until the onions are caramelized, about 10 minutes.
3. Grill the hot dogs until they are heated through and have grill marks, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Spread a generous amount of softened cream cheese on the inside of each hot dog bun.
5. Place a hot dog in each bun and top with caramelized onions.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
