Ingredients 

Burger Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 blend
  • 4 slices Cheese American or Cheddar
  • 4 buns Burger Buns
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat the cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into 4 equal balls.
  3. Place the beef balls in the skillet and smash them flat with a spatula.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
  6. Add cheese slices on top of the patties and let them melt.
  7. Toast the burger buns in the skillet.
  8. Assemble the burgers and serve hot.
