Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf stale Italian bread, cubed
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked onion and garlic, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil. Mix well.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
